I photographed a Valentine's Day Special at All The Do Dog Day in Shrewsbury, Mass. The dog owner had the option of having their dog pose with angel wings and heart shape pillows. Some owners chose not to have the angel wings. It was a really fun day photographing different breeds and capturing their expressions. I love dogs!

High School Senior

Alanna wanted a "Destination" session for her high school senior portraits. She was looking for a fashion and editorial look to her images. I started at the beach in Dennis, Cape Cod and then in Provincetown, Mass. I finished the following day with a "wet look" session at my studio. With over 300 images to choose from, I picked 26 of my favorite images to show a variety of looks.

my favorite 26 to post.

Trash the Dress

Last January I photographed Katelyn and Dan's wedding in Providence, Rhode Island. Their reception was at the Providence Biltmore Hotel. Katelyn wanted some summer photos at Cape Cod and suggested she wear her wedding dress again and go in the water. She wasn't concerned about getting it wet. Dan likes to fish, so I incorporated both requests in their session. I had the best time with this beautiful couple. The results were amazing!

Christmas Trees

This past month, I had the pleasure of photographing Arlene's six Christmas trees. They were all beautifully decorated with different themes and styles.

It kept me in the Christmas spirit and just wanted to enjoy looking at them all day long. I'm glad I don't have to wrap all the ornaments and put them all away.

Tuesday night at 6:00 I photographed a 9 month old baby boy named Lucas. He was so much fun and gave me the best expressions. Here are some of my favorite ones. He really made my night. I'm looking forward to photographing his one year old session. I'm sure he will have a lot to say!

I received a phone call from Amy, the owner of Guiseppe's Grille in Northborough, Mass to photograph her restaurant and some of the entrees she serves. She would be using these images for her new website. It was a perfect Monday morning with the sun beaming through the restaurant windows. Photographing the cafe, bar and dining rooms, I could smell the aromas of different herbs and spices permeating from the kitchen. It was a comforting feeling to see the delicious meals I would be photographing. When the shoot was done, I had the privilege of tasting all the dishes. That was the best part of the day. From pizza, filet mignon, grilled salmon and tiramisu, every bite I ate was delicious.

On Valentine's Day, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining there that evening. The appetizers, salads and entrees we ate were amazing and the atmosphere warm and inviting. This is one restaurant you have to try!

Engagement Session

My niece, Ariane and her fiance, Bill are getting married this June. Last fall she asked me to photograph their engagement session. They met at Boston College, fell in love and graduated from there. They felt that location was the perfect place for photos. The campus grounds have incredible Gothic buildings, beautiful flower gardens and perfectly manicured shrubs and lawns. It was exciting and fun to use the various settings and come up with cool poses as well as capturing fun expressions of them.

I really felt I documented the love and joy they shared together that afternoon with over 150 images they could view. I narrowed it down to my favorites with a variety of poses, expressions and backgrounds. The couple chose their favorite image and sent out magnets to all their guests. It read, "Save the Date". This is very popular with brides and grooms who are getting married because it's a great way to give guests a heads up on the couple's wedding date. Its let's them know the date way in advance because many people plan their vacations early and some can work around that date.
